Good Fortune was made for #GMTKJam2024. We incorporated the theme, "Built to Scale" in a few ways: (1) at face value, most of the questions relate to scale, or changing sizes, but more importantly (2) each answer, whether right or wrong, is supposed to affect the scale of the game world, and influence the meaning of future questions. in other words: as you play, you build a gameworld to inhabit, often with disastrous consequences.
#GMTKJam2024 is our first game jam, and Good Fortune is our first game. there's still a lot we'd love to add in the future, but mostly there's a bunch of errors we need to fix (it was a bit of a squeeze to get it to this stage). we think the central idea - a quiz game in which your answers affect the reality of the gameworld - has potential, so we're going to keep ironing out the issues over the course of the next little while!

We plan on giving more hints and expanding the game scope as soon as the GMTK game jam is over! also, if youre stuck it's probably not your own fault, that particular question might be buggy in this build of the game :(
